Staff Accountant
In November of 2021, Derren Welton joined Midland Atlantic Properties as a Staff Accountant. Derren brings with him several years of experience producing financials for various commercial and residential real estate portfolios, as well as financials for not-for-profit organizations which includes a local ministry, and generating reports for tracking grants, commissions and revenues for profit and non-profit organizations.
As the Staff Accountant Derren oversees all the accounting processes of his assigned properties which includes one of the larger portfolios at MAP. He is also responsible for the accounts payable for all the various portfolios at MAP and assists with budget preparation, quarterly reconciliations for large tenants and utility reimbursement charges. Derren received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the Linder College of Business at the University of Cincinnati.
